The industry lost a great horse and a young girl lost her best friend. Jose’s High Society was laid to rest at 4 The Glory Farm on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 following complications of colic. The talented stallion was foaled on October 22, 2003.

Reilly Miller dreamed of owning Jose’s High Society long before she actually did, but in March of 2013 she received her “Fairy Tale” horse. That same year, this team made their dream a reality. They rode to their first title of Reserve World Champion in the Owner Amateur Novice Ladies on Novice Walking Stallions. Then the following week of the 2013 Celebration they were crowned the Novice World Grand Champions. Finally this team finished out the year being honored with the title of Novice Horse of the Year.

The Report’s thoughts and prayers go out to the Miller and Derickson families.
