MORGANTON, N.C. - The North Carolina Foothills Jubilee Horse Show was held at the Burke County Fairgrounds in Morganton, N.C., on June 27. This annual show put on by the North Carolina Walking & Racking Club had 34 classes with a good turn out of 121 entries. Allen Price was the judge of the 32 walking horse classes and two spotted horse classes. The proceeds of the show went to the Burke County Hospice and Palliative Care and a check was presented at the intermission.

The show ended with four entries in the Walking Open Stake class. Making their third Stake win of the season was the team of Ronald Mosley and Gen’s Orange Lady. Don Lominac with Threat’s Gold Dancer were named the reserve champions for owner Les Auman. Allen Abee was in the saddle for owner Mary Ann Mitchell aboard JFK’s Veto Power to captured the third place honor.
