Legacy Reunion at the 2012 Southern Championship Charity Horse Show
Friday, September 7, 2012
During the Southern Championship Charity Horse Show, we will be holding a reception to honor the many people within the Tennessee Walking Horse industry who have been associated with and supported GWHEA over the years. This includes trainers, owners, vendors and other supporters who have had ties with the TWH industry in Georgia in the past. We would especially like to include the families of those who are no longer with us, in order to honor their memories.
We will publish a souvenir commemorative brochure for this event and would like to include information about each honoree, consisting of information about their career in the industry, personal information about them and a photo. Please let us know if you -- or someone you know – would like to participate in this reunion, and send us the information that you would like to have included in the brochure. Anyone who has ever been associated with the TWH industry in Georgia in any way – no matter how small – and their families are encouraged to participate! Please bring old photos and other memorabilia that we can display during the reception. To submit information for the brochure, including a photo, please email cfrankum@windstream.net
A reception will be held from 4:00pm —6:00 pm Saturday afternoon to honor these long-time supporters of the industry and their families. The reception will be held at a banquet room in the Georgia International Horse Park, and will include a cash bar and hors d’oeuvres. Everyone is invited to attend and take a walk down memory lane with these legends of the industry! For more information, contact Danny Rylee at 770-677-1570 or 770-654-6707.
