RICHMOND, Ky. – The Madison County Fair gave their first two night show a shot during the August 7th and 8th, 2009 weekend. Fair board members thought by extending their show to two nights instead of one they would exceed in entries and it did indeed. Nearly 250 horses entered the ring for the walking horse show on Saturday evening alone. The walking horses were judged by Jason Day of Bell Buckle, Tenn., and Jerry Goodman called the racking horse show on Friday evening.
