Mississippi Show Donates $20,000 to Children's Hospital

The Mississippi Charity Horse Show held in April 2010 in Jackson, Miss. has donated $20,000 to the Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children.  The children's hospital treats children with cancer, heart defects, special needs and trauma.

Mississippi Charity Horse Show President Robert Taylor commented, "We were blessed to have a great show this year and what we do is more than just a horse show.  We feel very blessed to be able to help the children at the Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children."  He concluded, "We would like to thank all of those exhibitors, trainers, owners and sponsors that made this possible."

The Mississippi Charity Horse Show sponsored a visit from Miss Mississippi to the hospital on the Tuesday of the week of the horse show.  Patients from the hospital were also in attendance each night of the show and were led in on horses each night.
