MURFREESBORO EXCHANGE CLUB ADDS CLASS; CLARIFIES CLASS DESCRIPTION
The Murfreesboro Exchange Club Walking Horse Show, scheduled for June 28th, has added a class to its schedule. Class 1A will be Fine Harness, Amateur Drivers. The Fine Harness, Open class is on the schedule as class 15. "We've had numerous trainers call with horses for both classes. We understand that several of them will want to show two horses since they have gone to the effort to bring the harness buggy," says Mark Farrar, show manager.
There have also been questions about class 16, Youth 17 & Under, Local Gaited Pleasure. This class is simply an open pleasure class for youth riders. It's designed to give youth riders a chance to show a pleasure horse that may have already competed at the show. Trail Pleasure Horses and/or Country Pleasure Horses are eligible to show back in this class with a youth rider. The word "local" is not meant to restrict the home of the rider or owner. Any rider who is 17 and under can show in this class, no matter where they live. The horses will be asked to show at a walk and favorite gait.
The 48th Annual Murfreesboro Exchange Club Show will be held on Saturday, June 28th at Old Fort Park in Murfreesboro. For more information, contact Mark Farrar at 615-604-4616.
