NCWHA Spring Show and NCWHLA Show add classes

The following classes have been added to the North Carolina show programs for this weekend:
NCWHA Spring Show - Friday Night
Class 19A - Youth Specialty Walking 17 & Under
Class 28A - Open Aged Mare & Gelding Specialty Walking - Rider's Cup
NCWHLA Show - Saturday Night
Class 15A - Walking All Day Pleasure Youth
Class 20A - Open Walking Specialty - Rider's Cup
Class 26A - Open 15.2 & Under Walking Specialty - Rider's Cup
The NCWHA Board has voted to count all added classes for points. There are no plans for any additional classes.

On Wednesday, May 22, 2024, the Walking Horse Trainers’ Association will have a Board of Directors meeting at 5:00 PM CST and General Membership meeting at 6:00 PM CST in the Hall of Fame Club in Shelbyville, Tennessee. Gene D. Jordan, age 91 of Murfreesboro, Tennessee passed away peacefully, May 11, 2024 at the farm he was born and raised on. Gene graduated from Walter Hill High School and then farmed with his Father and later worked as a Master Farrier for thirty-eight years in the Tennessee Walking Horse Industry.

Entries will be accepted for the for the 86th Annual Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration on July 22nd and 23rd until 5:00pm central standard time each day at the Blue Ribbon Circle Club on the Celebration grounds. Entries will close July 23, 2024 at 5:00 pm.
