GUNTOWN, Miss. - The weather was nice Saturday, June 13, and the crowd was big, but the horses were down in numbers for the Guntown Horse Show. Layne Leverette of Shelbyville, Tenn., judged what was supposed to be a 34-class event that ended up only being 10 classes. There were a total of 20 horses shown in the walking divisions. Southern Serenity Ranch took home five blues; Abernathy Stables and David Smith won two. Vigor’s Image and Chet Mills won the Walking Stake for Fikes and Post of Hamilton, Ala.
