Obituary - Larry Helton



Larry Wade Helton, age 61, of Alexis, North Carolina died on Monday, October 30, 2017.

Mr. Helton was born July 14, 1956, in Gaston County, to the late Bennie and Vergie Ballard Helton. He worked as the membership director for the Lincoln Country Club and was a member of the North Carolina Walking Horse Association.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Clippard Helton of the home; two daughters, Landice Helton, and fiancé Zach Krumpfer, and Lindsay Gee, and husband Casey; and a grandson, Remington Wade Gee.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2017, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church with Pastor Chad Walker officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at Warlick Funeral Home.  

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Larry Wade Helton Memorial Fund at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 2639 E. Highway 150, Lincolnton, NC  28092.
