Obituary - Barbara Mitchell Ruffin

Mrs. Barbara Mitchell Ruffin, age 87, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015, at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital.
She held membership at First Presbyterian Church in Shelbyville, and was an endowed member of the Eastern Star, and a member of Beta Sigma Sorority.
Preceding her in death was her husband, W. F. Ruffin, Jr.
Survivors include a sister, Carolyn Sue Lattier, of Shelbyville; three daughters, Karen Callaway, Barbara Pate, and Rebecca Woodruff, all of Shelbyville; three grandsons, John Allan Callaway, III, William A. Callaway, and W. G. Woodruff, IV, all of Shelbyville; three great grandchildren, Julia Paige Callaway, Ella Brook Callaway, and Sterling Rogers Woodruff; two nieces, Lynda Wells, of Cypress, TX, and Pam Baker, of Bryan, TX.
The family will receive visitors 3-5 PM Sunday at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel.
Graveside service will be 1 PM Monday, October 12, 2015, at Munford Cemetery in Covington, Tennessee.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church in Shelbyville or The American Cancer Society.
Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
