Obituary- Carolyn Ann Goodwin Roach



Carolyn Ann Goodwin Roach, 61, insurance underwriter for Barrett, Couch and Associates, passed away March 10, 2004, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Memphis.

Roach exhibited Tennessee Walking Horses and won 11 world championships and several reserves under the direction of Whitter Stables of Collierville, Tenn. She showed many horses, but her favorite was Coin’s Dixie Darling. She attended Grace Community Church.

Roach, the wife of Larry Roach for 34 years, also leaves a son, Scott Edward Roach, and her mother, Eva Bell Ham Taylor, both of Memphis; a sister, Betty Carnal of Savannah, Tenn., and a grandchild.

Services were held March 12 at Northridge/Woodhaven Chapel with burial in Oaklawn Baptist Cemetery.
