Alfred Daniel Kistler, 68, of Statesville, North Carolina passed away Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at his home. He was born October 10, 1952 in Catawba County the son of the late John Calvin Kistler, Sr. and Clorene Simmons Kistler. He was the owner and operator of Kistler Stables in Statesville, North Carolina.

He is survived by:
Brother: John Kistler and wife Merrill of Claremont, North Carolina
Extended Family: Kelly Duschel and daughter, Caitlyn of Lincolnton, North Carolina and Caiden Seay of Statesville, North Carolina
Special friend: Caitlyn Duschel of Lincolnton, North Carolina
Niece: Lori Devine and husband Luke
Nephews: Brandon Mayberry and Kyle Mayberry

Burke Mortuary & Crematory-Newton is serving the Kistler family. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 21, beginning at 2:00 pm at Kistler Stables (2124 Old Mountain Road Statesville, NC).
