Obituary - Doyle Wayne George

Mr. Doyle Wayne George, 64, of Hickman died Tuesday at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City, Tenn.

Mr. George was a landowner and farmer and raised Tennessee Walking Horses horses in Fulton County. He was of Baptist faith.

Mr. George is survived by his wife, Anita George; two daughters, Jill Coffey of Hickman and Ginger Atkins of Paducah; one grandchild; one stepson, Ryan Thompson of Union City; one brother, Jimmy George of Mount Juliet, Tenn.; and four sisters, Betty Oliver, Brenda Williams and Janice Taylor, all of Hermitage, Tenn., and Jo Ann Brooks of South Fulton, Tenn..

His parents were Doyle and Olean George.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Hickman with the Revs. Tom Quimby and Henry Callison officiating. Interment will be in Hickman City Cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. Thursday, and from 10 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Friday until the service time at the church.
