Fay Witcher Sr., 63, of Seiverville, Tenn, passed away Feb. 26, 2004, after an ongoing battle with cancer. He was a lumberman who owned and operated Witcher Lumber Company in Red Boiling Springs, Tenn., before retiring to East Tennessee.

Over the past 35 years, he has owned such horses as 1967 World Grand Champion Go Boy’s Sundust, Delight’s Enterprise, Master’s Rubye Doll, California Lady, Prime Example, Gentleman Jack and Walking Armed.

Witcher is survived by his wife, Melody Witcher of Seiverville, Tenn., sons Todd Witcher of Knoxville, Tenn., Tim Witcher of Buffalo Ky., and Fay Witcher II of Nashville, Tenn.
