Obituary – Marsha Witherspoon

Marsha Witherspoon, age 81 of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, transitioned from this life Wednesday, October 6th 2021 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center after complications of an extended illness.
Born July 13, 1940 in Nashvillem Tennessee, she was the wife of the late great Tennessee Walking Horse trainer Frank Witherspoon. Known for her infectious smile and phenomenal cooking, she will be missed by many Tennessee Walking Horse patrons.
Visitation for family and friends of Marsha will take place Thursday, October 14 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Scales Funeral Home (314 East State Street Murfreesboro, Tennessee). Funeral visitation begins Friday, October 15th at 11 a.m. at Bethesda Original Church of God (2816 Tucker Road Nashville, Tennnessee 37218)
