Nanette H. Matassa passed away on November 20, 2002 in Hollywood, Florida, after an extended illness. She is survived by her daughter, Nanette Bridge, and is the wife of the late Rudy Matassa. The family were long time walking horse enthusiasts. Some horses owned by Matassa included Grand Slam S., purchased from C.A. Bobo, Gunsmoke’s Go Bang, Can Do’s Walking Tall, President Push, Ebony’s Stride-Rite, Bum’s War Paint, and Royal Pain.
