Randall Lee Ferguson, age 79, of Union Grove, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Shepherd’s Cove Hospice.
Mr. Ferguson was born on September 30, 1939 in Scottsboro, Alabama to Willard Franklin Ferguson & Velma King Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson’s accomplishments included; the founder of Ferguson-Williams from 1969 – 2006; Board of Directors Member- Citizens Bank & Trust; Board of Directors Member- Marshall Medical Centers; Instrumental in raising funds for the Marshall County Cancer Center; Founder of Ferguson Farms & Wolf Creek Stables.
He attended Arab First United Methodist Church.
Mr. Ferguson is survived by his wife, Laura Jane Long Ferguson; sons & daughter-in-laws, Michael Ferguson & Pebbles, Mark Ferguson & Kirsten; daughter, Donna Ferguson Morris; step sons & daughters-in-law, Trey Williams & Melanie, Corey Williams & Corinne; step daughters & sons-in-law, Lauren Farmer & Dewon, Lane Franklin & Lenny; grandchildren, Whitney Leigh Morris, Blake Ferguson, Chase Ferguson, Randi Ferguson, Taylor Ferguson, Sydney Ferguson; 10 step grandchildren; sister, Sharon Rhinehart. Preceded in death by his parents, Willard Franklin Ferguson & Velma King Ferguson; later wife, Lavonda Jane Click Ferguson; late wife, Martha Ann Leach Ferguson; sister, Nelda Sorter.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Rev. Steve West, officiating. Burial will be in Union Grove First Baptist Church Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will include; Blake Ferguson, Chase Ferguson, Taylor Ferguson, Trey Williams, Corey Williams & Scott Sorter. Honorary Pallbearers will include; Doug Johnson, Austin Hinds, Prentice Cornett.
