Obituary – William Donald Mason Jr.

Mr. William Donald Mason Jr, age 65 of Petersburg,Tennessee, passed away from this life Friday, May 19th 2023 under the loving care of his family and Caris Healthcare, at his home.
Celebration of life will be held Tuesday, May 30th from 4-6pm at Fellowship for Christ Church in Shelbyville.
He was born on March the 18th 1958 to the late Shirley Marie Reynolds and William Donald Mason Sr.
He was a known horse/mule trainer in Bedford County for many years. He had a passion for cars and motorcycles, he persued his passion at Gateway Tire in Shelbyville. He was a longtime member of Fellowship for Christ Church in Shelbyville. He also enjoyed watching the Tennessee Vols and Oakland Raiders play football.
He is survived by his loving wife Kathy Mason of 36 years, daughters Tamera (Tim) York of Shelbyville, Amy (Don Moore) Mason of Petersburg, son Brian (Dorothy) Cates of Petersburg. Grandchildren Trestin (Shelby) York, Madison (Will) Finch, Andrew (Donna) Cates, Nevaeh Moore, Aaliyah Mason, Kaitlyn Cates, and Deanna Worthington. Great grandchildren Jace, Sladen, Langston, and Finlee Finch and Claire Cates.
Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.
