Obituary-Robert "Eddie" Ward

Robert Eddie Ward, age 59, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., passed away due to an automobile accident on May 5, 2010 at Stones River Hospital in Woodbury. Ward was a native and life-long resident of Rutherford County. He was a member of New Vision Baptist Church, a farmer and currently worked at Siegel High School in food service. Ward was a former employee of Bedford Tack and Co-op.
Ward was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Elrod Shane, and half-brother, Mark Shane. He is survived by his father, James Robert (Evelyn) Ward of Lascassas; wife, Arden Elaine Ward; son, John Robert (Amanda) Ward; step-sons, Jay Mac Carter and Jonathan Daniel Carter of Murfreesboro; Uncle Bud and Aunt Mina Seaton of Milton; brother, Howard Harris Ward of Hendersonville; step-brother, Craig (Debbie) West of Arizona; and step-sister, Rhonda (Winslow) Hale of Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Rutherford County 4-H Extension, 315 John Rice Blvd., Suite 101, Murfreesboro, TN 37129.
