I’ve been showing horses for about 20 years but riding at Howard Hamilton’s Southern Serenity Ranch for 24 years.

He’s Puttin' On The Ritz because he is the sire of our multi titled champion All American Ritz who is enjoying a restful retirement!
IF THERE WAS ONE AREA OF THE INDUSTRY YOU COULD CHANGE OR RAMP UP, WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
I have enjoyed some of the new public relations videos that I have seen online. I think modernizing our message and making sure that people outside the industry know why the Tennessee Walking Horse is great will be vital to the industry long term. We need to keep bringing in new people to the breed.
IF YOU WERE NOT AT THE BARN OR A HORSE SHOW, WHAT WOULD WE FIND YOU DOING IN YOUR FREE TIME?
Currently I spend a lot of time wedding planning with my fiancé but I also like to work out and spend time with friends and family (even if that has been via Zoom recently)
WHAT ARE SOME OF THE TV SHOWS, MOVIES OR NETFLIX FEATURES HAVE YOU BEEN BINGE WATCHING DURING THE PANDEMIC?
My fiancé, Steven and I watched all the Marvel Avengers movies! That has been a big undertaking but we both enjoyed them!
WHAT WOULD YOU SAY HAS BEEN THE HIGHLIGHT OF YOUR SHOW CAREER THUS FAR?
I would say winning two world championships on All American Ritz would be the highlight for me!
WHAT WORDS OF WISDOM CAN YOU GIVE TO THE HORSE INDUSTRY ON THE PANDEMIC?
Take a deep breath and remember that God is in control and don’t lose focus on the big picture. We all want the shows to start back up but we should be so thankful that we have our health and that our loved ones are healthy.
