PJ’s Main Event, owned by Beverly Sherman, Dallas, Texas, died from complications of colic. From her Two-Year-Old World Grand Championship win with Ramsey Bullington in 1988 under the Bob Parks family ownership, to victories at the Big D Charity Horse Show, Germantown Charity, the National Trainers’ Show, and the International, PJ’s Main Event proved to be a strong show competitor throughout her life. She carried both Beverly Sherman and Kelly Sherman Garrett to winner’s circles across the south under the direction of Jackie McConnell at Whitter Stables. PJ’s Main Event was born in 1985 and was laid to rest at 17 years old.
