Ritz On The Corner and Sam Martin Corned The Competition

EASLEY, S.C. – The Curtis Hamilton Memorial Horse Show was held on June 13, 2009, at Valley Springs Stables in Easley, S.C. Larry Wheelon of Rogersville, Tenn., did the honors of judging this event.

Sam Martin directed Ritz On The Corner to the Walking Horse Grand Championship blue for Dr. David Brown of Sumter, S.C. Martin Training Center also claimed seven other blues for the evening. Robert Kellett Stables took home six Curtis Hamilton blues. Ken Moore Stables of Athens, Ga., and Tricia Williams each won three blues. Randy Lollis, Tommy Blackwell and Steve Woody Stables won dual blues, and single blues were won by David Boyce, John Toney, Jeff Smith, Leon Rembert, Tonya Strickland and Howard Woodman.
