Long-time Walking Horse enthusiast and advocate Stephen B. Smith recently received his bachelor's degree in liberal studies from Middle Tennessee State University. Smith first attended MTSU in the 1970's and was a three-year letterman in baseball for the Blue Raiders.
Smith is a Celebration Hall of Fame member and past President of the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders' & Exhibitors' Association (TWHBEA). The Daily News Journal in Murfreesboro recently published an article highlighting Smith's accomplishment.
