Streaming Video Returns to Fun Show
Thursday, May 15, 2008
SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration is proud to announce a continuation of the joint partnership with Charter Media and Premier Horse Video to provide a live streaming video webcast of the 38th Annual Spring Fun Show.
The project will allow fans around the world to view the Fun Show via computer.
“We have been able to provide the webcast of the Fun Show at no charge for three years,” said Celebration Director of Public Relations, Chip Walters. “We’re happy to be able to do that again this year. Charter has provided wonderful service during the Fun Show.”
Infrastructure problems customers faced during The Celebration® in 2007 appear to have been corrected and have been thoroughly tested. An announcement on the Celebration webcast schedule will come in the near future.
Fans wanting to view the Spring Fun Show will need to make sure they have the latest version of Windows Media Player downloaded to their computer. Higher speed connections, such as Charter High-Speed Internet, other cable-based connections, or DSL will provide the smoothest viewing experience. An active link will go up each night on The Celebration’s home page (www.twhnc.com) as well as Charter Mainstreet www.yourmainstreet.com).
The 38th Annual Spring Fun Show is scheduled for May 22-24 at Calsonic Arena at the Historic Celebration Grounds. The 70th Annual Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration is slated for August 20-30.
