See below for a summary of SHOW inspection numbers from the Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration:

As of last night, of the 1,340 horses that have gone through inspections at The Celebration, pre-show, there have been 27 violations on 26 horses.  Horses are pre-entered in multiple divisions with different riders before the deadline on August 6th but the decision to enter the horse is made after the show begins.

"The numbers don't surprise me at all, as the compliance rate has been just under 98% all year at SHOW's shows with close to total agreement with the government,” said Mike Inman, TWHNC CEO. “The industry looks forward to working with the USDA to create objective inspections similar to other competitive equine breeds"
