TWHBEA is pleased to announce its new partnership with Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics.  Leave No Trace is an educational, nonprofit organization dedicated to the responsible enjoyment and active stewardship of the outdoors by all people, worldwide.

TWHBEA plans to utilize this partnership for educational purposes on trail events involving TWHBEA members.  Leave No Trace offers many educational opportunities for the TWHBEA membership including Leave No Trace trainers, literature, and speakers at various events.

The Leave No Trace partnership should further enhance the quality and expanse of activities involving events connected to the TWHBEA / National Park Service Partnership.

The Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders' and Exhibitors' Association, headquartered in Lewisburg, Tennessee, is the oldest and most prestigious organization devoted to the promotion and protection of the breed. Founded in 1935, the breed registry was established to record the pedigrees of the Tennessee Walking Horse. Its goal is to maintain the purity of the breed, to promote greater awareness of the Tennessee Walking Horse and its qualities, to encourage expansion of the breed and to help assure its general welfare.
