(Copyright, WHR,2006) The Executive Committee of the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders' and Exhibitors' Association is meeting this morning at their offices in Lewisburg, Tennessee to discuss their future participation in the National Horse Show Commission.  The TWHBEA had previously given notice that it was withdrawing from the NHSC and several meetings have been held by the organizations involved in an effort to come up with a workable plan for the 2006 season.

TWHBEA President Jerrold Pedigo has proposed a new plan but it has not been embraced by either the Walking Horse Trainers' Association or the Walking Horse Owners' Association.  A high ranking TWHBEA official told The Report that the Trainers and Owners associations have already reached an agreement to move forward in the NHSC, with or without the participation of the TWHBEA.

The Report will be covering the meeting this morning and will have an update as soon as the meeting is over.
