Upcoming Scar Rule Clinics In Kentucky
Friday, October 23, 2009
The Bluegrass Pleasure & Walking Horse Association (BPWHA) will be holding three Scar Rule Clinics in Kentucky in November. They welcome show horses of all disciplines and breeds to attend. The BPWHA is dedicated to showing sound horses, both pleasure and performance, so with this in mind they have arranged to hold the three Scar Rule Clinics in conjunction with the Horse Protection Commission (HPC) and the USDA.
BPWHA encourages all owners and trainers to bring their horses for inspection with no risk. The inspectors will not take any information about the horse or the owner. No tickets will be written. The association will hold these clinics so horse owners and trainers may come and ask questions and get information about the Scar Rule for educational purposes.
The BPWHA also is accepting applications for membership and for its judges program at this time. Anyone interested may go to www.bpwha.com and get an application for judges or membership. Membership applications accepted now will run through Dec. 31, 2010. Judges applications must be received by Dec. 20, 2009 to be eligible for testing for the 2010 judges’ list.
