Walden and Moore Buy Equine Assets of Rusty Hyneman

(
(Copyright WHR 2006) – The partnership of R. Bud Moore and Mike Walden have purchased the equine assets of Rusty Hyneman. These assets include well-known champions I’m Silver Too, Willie Mays, a show pleasure horse currently in training with Billy Gray, as well as 2005 Reserve World Grand Champion Private Charter, and 2004-5 Amateur World Grand Champion Generator’s Champion.
Mike Walden says “Knox Blackburn saw an opportunity for Bud Moore to own Private Charter again. He presented that opportunity to us, and we saw a great opportunity to purchase a lot of great horses. It just made sense.”
The Moore/Walden partnership plans to campaign the multi-titled World Champion and 2005 Reserve World Grand Champion Private Charter for the 2006 World Grand Championship under Knox Blackburn’s direction.
“We are going to work with Knox and the other incumbent trainers to determine the best course of action for each of the other horses,” says Walden.
