Waterfall Farms was host to a New Zealand farm tour group, Farm To Farm Tours, on July 7. This group toured the western, southern and mid-western sections of the United States, visiting farms to learn about U.S. agriculture. One of their stops while in Tennessee was at Waterfall Farms. The New Zealand group was introduced to the Tennessee Walking Horse for the first time and was able to witness the daily activities that take place on an equine breeding farm. The history of the breed was discussed, as well as its unique gaits and current role as an equine companion and show animal.
