WHOA Jamboree Update

The Walking Horse Owners' Association would like to remind you about the show this weekend (April 17-18) at the Tennessee Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro, Tenn. Gary Feltner of Cedar Creek, TX will judge the Friday and Saturday night Jubilee. Jill Beech of Shelbyville, Tenn., will judge the Versatility and Academy classes. This is a formal attire horse show.
Three classes have been added to the Saturday evening show line-up.
Class 34A, Trail Pleasure, 2 & 3 Year Old, Amateur, English or Western
Class 46A Lite Shod, 2 & 3 Year Old, Amateur, English or Western
Class 51A Country Pleasure, 2 & 3 Year Old, Amateur, English or Western

The Walking Horse Trainers’ Association General Membership meeting that will be held on Wednesday, May 21, at 4:00 will be held in the Hall Of Fame Club inside Cooper Steel Arena. The Marshall County Horseman's Association announced that Amy Trimble of Lynnville Tennessee will be judging the 49th annual horse show on July 25th. The show has a new revised schedule with thirty-one action-packed classes. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy one of the best shows in Middle Tennessee. The show is affiliated with SHOW HIO, WHTA Riders Cup, Mid-South Horse Show Association, and TWHBEA International High Point.

The SCWHA has announced a date and location change for the Championship Show. Originally scheduled for October 10–11 in Clemson, the event will now take place November 7–8 at the South Carolina State Fairgrounds in Columbia, SC. This change allows the association to avoid overlapping with larger multi-day shows in October while also reducing event costs by more than $15,000.

World Grand Champion, Reserve World Grand Champion and 11-time World Champion All American Ritz was humanely laid to rest on May 13, 2025, at Southern Serenity Ranch in Cedar Grove, Tennessee. Ritz was bred and raised by Steve and Denise Smith, and was foaled on October 11, 2000.

The TWHBEA Satellite Office on The Celebration grounds will be open from 4-8pm each day of the Spring Fun Show May 22-24, 2025. Customers will be able to take care of registrations, transfers, leases and memberships at the Satellite Office. You can also purchase the Horse Cards and Exhibitor Cards in the Satellite Office.
