WHTA Annual Convention & Banquet Move To Murfreesboro
Friday, January 25, 2013
The Walking Horse Trainers’ Association (WHTA) recently signed a contract to move their 2013 annual convention and Horse of the Year awards banquet to the Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro, Tenn. In recent history the annual convention and banquet has been held at the Cool Springs Marriott in Franklin, Tenn.
The change in venue will offer a fresh face to the awards banquet. “We appreciate the wonderful hospitality extended to us by the Marriott but look forward to our partnership with the Embassy Suites. We believe our members, owners and guests will enjoy the first class accommodations at the Embassy as well as the attractions in The Avenue in Murfreesboro,” said President Mickey McCormick.
The 2013 Horse of the Year awards banquet will be held December 7, 2013.
