WHTA prepares for 53rd annual Trainers' Show

The Walking Horse Trainers’ Association will host their 53rd annual Trainers’ Show on March 18-21, 2021 at Calsonic Arena in Shelbyville, Tennessee.  

The event will include the following: 

-75 classes (25 Riders’ Cup classes)

-$500 bonus prize for the winner of the Two-Year-Old Stallion class (if the winner was started by Leverrette and Sons Stables or Eric Yokley Stables

-Amateur giveaways each night with a $1000 grand prize on Saturday night donated by Marsha’s On The Square (every amateur that enters the ring is eligible)

-TWHBEA representative available on site at their satellite office on the show grounds; Licensed trainers can join TWHBEA for a discounted fee of $50

-Great variety of vendors

-Year In Walking Horse dedicatees honored by the Walking Horse Report 

-Walking Horse Trainers’ Auxiliary will host their annual silent auction and will meet Saturday, March 20 at 11:00 am

-Beautifully decorated Winner’s Circle donated by Keith and Lorraine Rosbury and Gen’s Black Maverick

-Exhibition on Friday night

-Recognition of four deceased Trainers’ on Saturday night 

Entries can be made online at The entry deadline is noon each day. Entry office hours will be from 9:00am-12:00 and 3:00-6:00 pm in Calsonic Arena.
