WHTA Rescinds Motion

On March 20, 2007, the Board of Directors of the Walking Horse Trainers Association rescinded the action taken on February 8, 2007, that prohibited WHTA members, specifically WHTA Board members Wayne Dean and Jamie Hankins, from participating in judges’ seminars or HIO clinics directed or acknowledged by the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders and Exhibitors Association.

Ronnie Spears withdrew his motion and the Board accepted his action to rescind.

Consequently, Dean and Hankins will be allowed to vote on TWHBEA matters related to these issues. Dean and Hankins had previously been cautioned regarding conflict of interest as they serve as members of the board of both TWHBEA and WHTA.
