Equine Obituary - Extra Cash

May 24, 1989 - November 1, 2015

Extra Cash was in the first crop of Coin's Hard Cash offspring. He was out of Caretaker's April.

He has 518 registered foals . A large percentage of his foals were, and still are, successful in the show ring either as padded or flat-shod.

Extra's foals possess a lot of natural ability, personality, good looks and intelligence.

He won numerous blue ribbons under 8 different trainers.  Bonnie Cady owned him for several years. "He was a joy to show because you could feel him elevate as he hit the gate," said Cady.

In his later years , Sarah Beth Hallum, the granddaughter of Bonnie Cady,  would sit on his back while he ate from the age of two years old. Later she sit on him as he walked around the ring.  "Still a stallion, but ever so gentle with his little girl," stated Cady.

He was very much loved and and will be greatly missed.
