On June 22,2022, two-time Reserve World Champion, I'm Just Jesse, owned and loved by Larry and Ruth Ann Tudor of Ten Mile, Tennessee was humanely laid to rest at their home from colic.
Sired by Push and out of a Handshaker Mare, I'm Just Jesse was foaled on June 24, 2000. Jesse was among a group of colts sent to Craig Bacon to break and even though Jesse was culled as a performance horse Craig saw talent. When payment for Craig's services was due Jesse became part of the deal. Craig soon called Ruth Ann about the colt, then showed up at her home to drop him off. The team of I'm Just Jesse and Ruth Ann Tudor began. Their first horse show was at Pikeville, Tennessee, the two-year-old entered the ring with 18 entrees and received second place honors. That's when Larry Tudor bought Jesse for Ruth Ann for her Christmas and Birthdays forever. She knew this way he would never be sold.
As time would have it, Larry and Ruth Ann's grandchildren, Mason Woody and Sydney Queener were among the many children that learned to ride and show astride the gentle gelding. Jesse carried all ages for two years of age and up with care. Recorded in the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders Exhibitors' Association Jesse showed 152 times, winning two Reserve World Championship, a fifth place ribbon in the World Grand Championship, with a total of 17 Celebration ribbons and carried over 90 blue ribbons in his lifetime with riders young and old.
