Equine Obituary - Black Diamond Ritz




The Report has recently learned of the passing of Black Diamond Ritz. At the time of his passing he was owned by the partnership of Zinter & Doran.

Sired by He’s Puttin’ On The Ritz and out of a Coin’s Sleeper mare, Black Diamond Ritz was foaled on March 12, 2002. The black stallion was lead in the Yearling division by Bobby and Dr. Roger Richards under the ownership of Bobby and Freda Jones. 

Despite a short show ring career, Black Diamond Ritz will leave his legacy through his offspring. He is the sire of several notable show ring stars including: RWC Ritz’s Diamond Broker, WC Hey Pretty Girl, WC Adorable Diamond, WC The Camp Town Lady, Marquis, Firestone Black Ritz and I’m A Farmer’s Daughter.

Black Diamond Ritz will be missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
