Mr. Darrin Wayne Sisk, 57, of Walterboro, entered into rest Wednesday afternoon, November 9, 2022.

Born October 18, 1965, in Rocky Face, Tennessee, he was a son of Mrs. Mary Katherine Love Sisk and the late Mr. Jerry Wayne Sisk.   Darrin, had worked a long and dedicated career of over thirty years with the Department of Disability and Special Needs in Walterboro and was currently serving as Director, Day Services.  He was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Walterboro, where he had been a member of the Chancel Choir as well as The Handbell Choir. 

One of Darrin’s greatest passions in life was horses.  His love for Tennessee Walking Horses took great precedence in his life, and along with his wife, he had traveled extensively to show their horses and had won the esteemed Grand Champion Ribbon at The Celebration in Tennessee. 

Surviving in addition to his mother of Atlanta, Georgia; are his beloved wife, Linda White Sisk; a daughter, Sarah Sisk Cronan (Weston); a grandson, Lawson Cronan; and a sister, Sherri Kaye Sisk. He is also survived by Linda's daughter, Jennifer Koblan (Ken) and their children, Chase and Rachel; as well as his beloved dog, “Etta”.

A talented musician, he had served as pianist with Zion Baptist Church; and memorials may be directed there in his memory.  Zion Baptist Church, 152 Ruffin Road, Walterboro, South Carolina 29488.

A private family memorial service will be held to celebrate his life.
