Obituary - Fred Swann

Graveside services for Fred V. Swann, 92, of Auburn, AL, will be Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. in Auburn Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. George Mathison will be officiating. Visitation will be at Jeffcoat-Trant Funeral Home one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Swann was born March 30, 1917 in Tennessee, and died Saturday, April 4, 2009 at his home in Auburn. He moved to Auburn in 1946. He owned Swann's Trailer Park in Auburn. Mr. Swann was a member of Auburn United Methodist Church, and enjoyed raising Tennessee Walking Horses.

He is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Bob McCormick; grandson, Michael J. McCormick of Shelbyville, TN; and great-granddaughter, Amy Ann McCormick of Shelbyville, TN.

His grandson, Mike McCormick is the owner/trainer of Mike McCormick Stables in Shelbyville, TN.
