Nellie Weaver Rummage, 84, retired employee of First Farmers Bank, Middle Tennessee Bank, and resident of Columbia, died Sunday, October 23, 2022 at NHC Maury Regional Transitional Care.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2:00 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Ethan Courtemanche and Ricky Clay officiating. Burial will follow in Morton Cemetery. Born May 13, 1938 in Giles County, she was the daughter of the late William Henry Weaver and the late Sallie Ann Crosslin Weaver. Mrs. Rummage enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies, they were her joy and sunshine. She was a member of Arkland Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, whom she married June 2, 1956, Valton Wade Rummage of Columbia; daughters, Freda (Wayne) Dean of Lewisburg; Mary Ann Rummage of Columbia; son, Ronnie Rummage of Columbia; grandchildren, Monica (Paul) Lamm, Daniel (Kathy) Scroggins, Scott Rummage, Brandi (JC) Hahn, John Dean; ten great grandchildren; brothers, Jack (Faye) Weaver, Bill (Valree) Weaver; brother-in-law, Landon (Barbara) Rummage; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Active pallbearers will be Ronald Morton, Willard Murphy, James Prestridge, Ben Andrews, III, Jerry Kirk, and Mark Glenn.
