Spring Fling at ThorSport Farm to showcase gaited breeds

ThorSport Farm will host its second annual Spring Fling Saturday, May 1, featuring Tennessee Walking Horse and American Saddlebred classes. The event, showcasing gaited breeds, will take place from 4 – 10 p.m. at 4024 Barfield Crescent Road in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

In addition to enjoying competition among youth and adult classes, those who attend are encouraged to wear Kentucky Derby hats, to compete in a Derby Day Hat Contest that will go on throughout the evening. The Kentucky Derby will be shown on a large, outdoor projection screen so guests can enjoy “the fastest two minutes in sports” as it unfolds. A food truck will also be on site.

The Spring Fling at ThorSport Farm is affiliated with S.H.O.W; the T.W.H.B.E.A. International High Point Program; and the W.H.T.A. Rider Cup.
