The Alabama Jubilee Charity Horse Show, scheduled for Oct. 20-21, at Morgan County Celebration Arena has selected Brent Grider, Ryne Parker and Chris Zahnd to mark the cards for this year's event.

United Walking Horse Fall Finale announces judges and host hotel

The United Walking Horse Fall Finale, scheduled for November 10-12 in Tunica, MS has confirmed their judges and host hotel for the show. The show is the combined effort of the Foundation for the Advancement and Support of the Tennessee Walking Show Horse (FAST), Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ and Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA), Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration (TWHNC), and Walking Horse Trainers’ Association (WHTA).

Championship sessions to start at 6pm

The final three nights, September 1-3, of the 84th Annual Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration will begin at 6:00 pm instead of the traditional start time of 7:00 pm.

Celebration splits additional class

The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration will split the Amateur Owned & Trained Walking Horses, No professional training in 90 days, class 146 into an A and B division. The class grew in 2022 to 35 entries.

East Tennessee Fall Classic selects judging panel

The East Tennessee Fall Classic, scheduled for October 20-22, has selected Derek Monahan, Chad Adams and Sam Hamilton to mark the cards for this year's event. The show will be held at the Smokey Mountain Expo Center in White Pine, Tennessee.

Obituary – Diana Cruse

Diana Starr Cruse age 55, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022. Funeral services will be at 5pm Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Feldhaus Memorial Chapel. Reverend B.K. Miller will officiate.

NCWHA accepting scholarship applications

The North Carolina Walking Horse Association will award a minimum of two scholarships at the North Carolina Championship in October. Applications are due by September 30. Applicants must have been a NCWHA Member by June 1.

Eleven classes split at Celebration; Two classes split three ways

The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration recently announced over a 10% increase in entries for the upcoming 84th Annual Celebration. As a result, The Celebration has made the decision to split 11 classes this year.
