The Woodbury Lions Club Horse Show, scheduled for Saturday, July 1, has made a change to their original schedule. Class 39 Amateur Riders on Mares, Geldings or Stallions will now be a specialty class and not a canter class. |

Due to the heat forecasted for Friday, June 30th, the Money Tree Classic will push the start time back to 6:00! We are aware that this will make it a long night for everyone, but feel this is the best decision in keeping the horses, participants and spectators safe. |

Gloria was born October 4, 1932, in Williamson County to the late Thomas and Mary Anna Baskin Garrett. She was a member of Belfast Presbyterian Church. Gloria retired from her position as receptionist at the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeder's and Exhibitor's Association after 57 years of service. Her job was her passion along with cooking and enjoying watching QVC. |

The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration has released the schedule for the 85th Annual Celebration. Classes begin on Wednesday morning, August 23rd and include 15 sessions that culminate on Saturday, September 2nd. The class sheet includes 200 classes in total which will increase with any classes that are split after the entry deadline. |

Four-time World Grand Champion Epic was sadly laid to rest Monday evening under the expert care at Rood & Riddle in Lexington, Kentucky. Currently owned by Sadie Fowler Parsons of Nashville, Tennessee, Epic was taken to Rood & Riddle after local veterinarian Dr. Richard Wilhelm completed x-rays and determined further care was needed. |

Online entries are open for the TWHBEA World Versatility Championship, scheduled for July 20-21, 2023 at the Tennessee Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. For the second year in a row the show is co-located with the International Grand Championships making it the biggest weekend all year for the top versatility horses in the industry. |
