Walking Horse Trainers’ Auxiliary is proud to announce that Rollie Beard will judge the 36th Annual Money Tree Classic on July 5, 2019. The show will be held in Champions Arena.

Bedford Cancer Foundation announces plans for spring show

The Bedford Cancer Foundation has announced it will again be sponsoring its annual horse show, scheduled to take place Saturday, April 27 at the Champions Arena on the grounds of the Celebration in Shelbyville, Tennessee. The show will feature 30 exciting classes including both flat shod and padded performance classes.

Frank Martin Eichler "Fritz" 88, of Cincinnati, Ohio, father of popular Walking Horse owner, Frank Eichler, who owns Rising Star Ranch and whose wife Debbie is popular exhibitor, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, April 11, 2019.

Bennett Stables Relocates

Kim Bennett Stables has relocated to the beautiful Grand Oaks farm located at  825 Great House Road, Bowling Green, Kentucky. Kim has been training professionally since the mid-seventies and is well known for his success with Amateur and Youth riders as well as in open divisions.

Lynchburg Horse Show returns

The Lynchburg Walking Horse Show will return this year on Saturday, July 20 in the Moore County Arena. This show will benefit Liz Gassaway’s Kids, meaning all the children that have benefited from her guidance in equine events.

Year In Walking Horses Dedication: Mr. Heisman

An extremely popular horse among spectators as well as judges, Mr. Heisman has indeed demonstrated longevity over the years as he’s succeeded in the show ring with multiple riders. Mr. Heisman is deserving of the many accolades he’s received; and this year he has one more to add to his collection as he is the 2018 Year In Walking Horses Performance Horse of the Year.

He became one of the most talked about headline stories of the show after wrapping up an incredible show season with Lester H. Burns by capturing the Amateur Specialty World Grand Championship.

Celebration releases class schedule following comment period

The Tennessee Walking Horse National Celebration released its tentative class schedule for its 2019 edition, which is scheduled to take place Aug. 21-31 in Shelbyville, Tennessee. A few changes to the schedule were made following a comment period where trainers, owners and exhibitors could express their input to the committee overseeing the schedule.
